Week 23

Dear Baby,

Today is Week 23! In 17 weeks, you will be entering into the world to meet your Mommy and Daddy! In the last week, your fluttering has changed to little kicks and I'm feeling your movements everyday. I feel you when I least expect it and I am always so excited when I get a little baby kick from you! A few nights ago, Daddy put his hands on my belly and he felt your little kicks for the first time. He was really excited and couldn't believe how strong your little kicks were!

This past week, Daddy and I noticed that I am getting some stretch marks near my belly button. I call them my pregnancy tattoos. :)

Your Daddy and I have your name picked out already. We had it picked out weeks ago and we are keeping it a secret until you arrive. Your name is really special to your Daddy... I know that you will love it.

Right now, it is NBA Finals Season. You don't know it yet, but you are going to be a San Antonio Spurs fan just like your Daddy! The Spurs wlil be playing in Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals tonight. When you get older, your Daddy will teach you everything that you will need to know about basketball... and a lot of other stuff!

Yesterday we celebrated your Daddy's 35th birthday! He is going to be the best daddy in the world. You are going to love him!

Week 22

The little man is moving lots these days. I am quite sure that Daddy will be able to feel the little man kicking very soon! I still feel fluttering, but they are becoming very distinct little kicks. My abdomen is quite round and hard these days... I love feeling pregnant!

The only negative symptons that I've been experiencing has been the pelvic pain. It seems that it is quite normal. I have found this week that the pain has improved a bit with increase intake of water. I've also made sure that I didn't sit too long and keep my legs and joints limber throughout the day.

We decided to withdraw our contract on the house. Sometimes, enough is just enough... I'm not worried about it though... I know that we'll find something that we'll really love being in.

I am craving cold icees.....

Baby just kicked... He says hi...

21 Weeks

We had our big ultrasound last Friday. And he showed us his goods... legs spread wide open. And the 4D ultrasound showed us his very adorable baby face! I couldn't be happier and more excited!

Baby is moving a lot these days! I'm feeling him move ALL THE TIME! I love feeling him moving about. And I love seeing him... I can't wait to actually meet him in person in 19 weeks! I know that these 19 weeks will fly by!

Week 20

Halfway there!

There has been quite a bit of progress made in the baby belly. I'm starting to feel quite pregnant and round. I'm faced with a couple challenges this week including allergies and some tenderness in a very sensitive area.

I am feeling the little guy more often, especially while at work sitting and typing at my desk. I know it's him because it feels like bubbles in my lower abdomen... I hope he's comfy in there!

I'm excited about tomorrow morning. It's time for the big 20 week ultrasound! I expect the little guy to show us his goods again so we can confirm that he's got a hotdog.
