Week 17

We're having a little BOY! :)

I'm so excited about the little guy. I'm also really curious about what his personality will be like. Will he be a quiet perfectionist and enjoy reading and playing in solitude? Or will he be a loud, rambunctious fellow that I won't be able to control? Maybe he'll be a total clown, a prankster, love laughing and making those around him laugh. Will he be a leader and have the run of all the kids in the nieghborhood? I wonder if he'll love napping like his dad, or staying up late like his mommy.

I wonder if he'll be a picky eater, or if he'll love eating all kinds of foods like his mommy and daddy... Chinese, Tex-Mex, Italian, Japanese, Korean... I wonder what sport he'll be most interested in... Will we be taking him to little league baseball, basketball or karate? I wonder if he'll be interested in playing an instrument like the piano or maybe the saxophone! I wonder if he'll be right handed or left handed. I wonder if he'll be an artist or a scientist.

I feel so much closer to my baby now that I know he's a little boy and seeing him via ultrasound on Thursday. It feels like parenthood will be here before I know it. Being a mommy will be so much fun.
